MAP Authority has the ability to enforce any valid ASIN that a confirmed brand includes in a MAP agreement. However, retailers selling on an ASIN must accept the proposed agreement in order for enforcement to occur. With that being said, it’s unlikely a retailer selling counterfeit products will accept the agreement invitation. Although MAP Authority is an extremely powerful solution for enforcing MAP prices, it is not designed to combat counterfeit or hijacked listings.
