How does MAP Authority verify brand ownership?

In order to provide a trustworthy and secure experience for brands and retailers alike, MAP Authority has to verify that users are who they say they are. This holds especially true for brands participating in MAP Authority. Part of the identity verification process involves a phone interview with one of our account specialists. Brands will be asked a series of security questions that only they would know the answer to. We also request identity documents that brand owners will be able to provide.
